MacKenzie was selected as the SHAPE America National Dance Education Teacher of the Year 2014 in addition to being named both the Central District and Colorado Dance TOY in 2013.  She has been teaching courses in Dance, Health, Physical Education, and Adapted Physical Education for eight years at Fort Collins, CO.  MacKenzie is committed to making dance accessible to all and supporting teachers through quality professional development in dance.
