Wendy Monson

Wendy Monson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in Physical Education. She received her Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in Adaptive Physical Education. She also has her School Administration and Director of Special Education license. Wendy will be entering her 25th year of teaching! She began in the Germantown School District where she taught K-8th grade Physical Education and was the Adaptive Physical Education specialist for K-12th grades. She also taught at The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she was the Head Gymnastics Coach and Academic Staff member in the physical education and adapted physical education content areas. Wendy also served as an Assistant Principal and an Assistant Director of Special Education at Lakeland School, which is a self-contained school for children with disabilities for 5 years. After having her son, Wendy decided to go back and do what she started 25 years ago, teaching Physical Education and Adaptive Physical Education in the Merton School District and she loves what she does!
